“HOW CLOSE?” shows scenes from different kinds of memories, which reflect how two people can be together when the time is already long-term and the space – permanent.

Does living with someone mean living together? Are we able to keep intimacy in long-term relationship? What is the thing that connects us? Are “we” only “we” – and where am “I”? How does it feel when we think about the time we spend together?

The performance is flashbacks from two people’s lives, who live together. They start from close intimacy till total alienation, from real memories till reproduced imagination, from the loss of self till new discovery, from emotional outburst till identification of human values.

The performance has been nominated as a „Best of the contemporary dance performance of the year“ for Latvian Theatre award „Spēlmaņu nakts“ 2013/2014.
